Clarig Consulting Engineers t/a Ignatius Greaney & Associates was established in 1989 by Mr Ignatius Greaney.

Ignatius Greaney, Director

Ignatius graduated in 1984 from the National University of Ireland, Galway with a BE in Civil Engineering. Since then, he has gained experience in a wide variety of disciplines, including :

  3. Structural Engineering
  4. Civil Engineering Design
  5. Fire Safety Engineering
  6. Litigation
  7. Water Scheme Design and implementation
  8. Energy Rating
  9. Environmental Engineering

He gained Chartered Membership status of Engineers Ireland and has operated a successful, professional, thriving practice since inception. He is committed to providing above all a professional and ethical service to his client base.

Claire Greaney, Director

In 1995, Claire O’Connor-Greaney joined Ignatius in the practice. By this time Ignatius Greaney & Associates had become a busy office. Claire (wife and partner of Ignatius) graduated in 1986 from the National University of Ireland, Galway with a BE in Industrial Engineering. She subsequently graduated with a Masters Degree in Industrial Engineering in 1990. Having worked extensively as an Engineer and Project Manager, she could clearly see the benefit of working in the family business. Since 1995, Claire has assumed the roles of Human Resources Manager, IT Manager and Financial Manager. In 1995, the company was largely a manual, paper-driven office. Today, it operates a Microsoft Small Business Server - http://www.microsoft.com/ireland/smallbusiness/cases/ignatius_greaney.mspx with an internal network for email, file sharing and internet access through Broadband. Claire has ensured that the company has invested in up to date CAD software, steel/concrete design software, civil engineering software and the latest in terms of surveying equipment. Claire has also gained Chartered Membership Status of Engineers Ireland.

Ignatius Greaney & Associates has a staff of highly qualilfied professionals in all disciplines, including Architecture, Structural/Civil/Environmental Engineering and Surveying.
